Associated General Contractors (AGC) is devoted to helping and educating our members in establishing a foundation for a career in the construction industry.\

American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) advances the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related human factors to serve the evolving needs of the public and ASHRAE members.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a 120,000-member professional organization focused on technical, educational, and research issues for the engineering and technology community. ASME conducts one of the world's largest technical publishing operations, holds numerous technical conferences worldwide, and offers hundreds of professional development courses each year. ASME sets internationally recognized industrial and manufacturing codes and standards that enhance public safety.

American Society for Information Science and Technology (ASIST) is a cross-disciplinary professional society for information scientists and professionals. ASIS&T bridges the gap between information professionals in such diverse disciplines as computer science, linguistics, management, librarianship, and education.

Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is a source for information and networking in the dynamic fields of energy engineering and energy management, renewable and alternative energy, power generation, energy services, sustainability, and all related areas.

Council of Engineering Organizations (CEO) serves as the governing board for the recognized student organizations in Engineering. On an annual basis, they co-host Geek Week, National Engineers Week, and help support initiatives in the College of Engineering.

Eta Kappa Nu - IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu is a unique membership organization dedicated to encouraging and recognizing excellence in the IEEE-designated fields of interest. Eta Kappa Nu was formed as a result of the vision of a unique organization that recognized academic excellence in engineering.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a leading authority in technical areas ranging from computer engineering, biomedical technology, and telecommunications to power, aerospace engineering, and consumer electronics. Through its technical publishing, conferences, and consensus-based standards activities, IEEE produces thirty percent of the world's publishing literature in electrical and electronics engineering, and computer science areas, holds annually more than 300 major conferences, and has nearly 900 active standards with almost 500 under development.

Library and Information Science Student Association (LISSA) is an organization with the goal of enhancing the professional careers and academic experience of all its members. LISSA represents the ideas and opinions of its member to faculty and administration and plans social, professional and networking activities.

National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) exists to represent the building industry by serving its members and affiliated state and local builders associations.

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) has a mission to increase the number of culturally responsible engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. Collegiate membership is open to all engineering, math, physical, applied, and computer science majors. All others are invited to become affiliate members.

Sigma Sigma Pi (ΣΣπ) The Energy Engineering Honor Society, strives to promote interest in engineering excellence, sustainable practices, and intellectual growth as well as provide fellowship among students and faculty.

Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) is a global association of more than 128,000 engineers and related technical experts in the aerospace, automotive and commercial-vehicle industries. SAE International's core competencies are life-long learning and voluntary consensus standards development.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is the leading social-technical organization whose primary function is to enhance and achieve the potential of Hispanics in engineering, math and science. We are brought together by heritage, social responsibility and desire to improve the equality of all people through the use of science and technology. We value excellence in education, professional pursuits and leadership.

Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is a professional organization that offers student chapters an introduction to members of the plastics industry. It provides students with the exposure to industry that is valuable when seeking employment.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE) student chapter was established on the UNT campus in the spring of 2003. The main purpose of this chapter is to inform young women, their parents, counselors, and the general public, of the qualifications and achievements of women engineers and the opportunities open to them.
